Bring back British Rail then fewer cars on the roads.
Ian Smith, LeedsThe rail industry needs to be run safely for all and not for profit by the few.
Andy Wilkinson, NorwichI am just sick to the teeth of the year-on-year above inflation price hikes. Passengers are being fleeced, pure and simple . Enough is enough.
Tristan Lewis, BarryI’m fed up with overpriced train tickets. I’m getting charged stupid amounts to get to work and it’s costing me a small fortune.
Gareth Llewelyn, ExeterStop subsidising private companies and use the money to make a usable sensibly-priced service.
Stephen Lancey, YorkRe-nationalise the railways now. Stop private companies draining vital money which could be better spent on modernising the railways and re-opening stations.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
