Benefits for the many not profits for the few.
Alan Dobbins, Barnet, HertsI am a mature, serious railway enthusiast, widely travelled on our railway system and have been a supplier to the industry for many years. Re- nationalisation is essential.
Arun Prathapan, ChingfordTrains are for the public good, not private profit.
Jahmin Balde, Ipswich & LowestoftAlthough I like the different companies and versatility in trains, private companies vary way too much in quality of service from one another and everything is confusing.
Christopher Davidson, BoltonEnd the shocking rip-off of modern train travel and the total lack of value for money.
Roger Hawkins, MorpethRe-nationalise, but keep a limited role for the private sector in running some trains and ancillary services like catering.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
