We must not let Network Rail – our transport infrastructure – go out of public ownership.
Chris MatthewsI’m in favour of a re-nationalised rail network.
Eric Mcrory, BearsdenThe last time the railways were nationalised they were systematically starved of investment. Ensuring that does not happen again will make the re-nationalisation successful.
Andrew Nicholls, ColchesterPut an end to short franchises, lack of investment, not enough capacity, delays, poor communication, no leg room, small seats and over-priced refreshment.
Sarah Attree, WorthHaving to pay £600 a month just to get to work is ludicrous. It needs to change.
Darren Briggs, YorkShould be LNER / GWR / LMS / Southern owned by the people.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
