Stop pouring public money into private pockets.
Rick Salter, PenrithAs a regular rail user I know that the previous set-up was better. Bring back BR and put service ahead of profit.
Claire Murphy, BexleyheathSave the taxpayer money. No more giving out huge subsidies to be passed out to private rail company shareholders.
Susan Englefield, LondonPeople before profit.
Matthew Shewbridge, LondonBusiness and railways don’t mix. As a natural monopoly, there is no real competition amongst providers to deliver a service of good value and high quality.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
