John Raynor, LutonRe-nationalise energy as well.
Ged Moore, JarrowFranchising doesn’t work. How can operators on different routes provide competition? Thatcher idiocy.
Jarvis Coxwell, FarnhamThe current British railway system is inherently flawed, and has gone noticeably downhill. As a 24 year old, I am struggling to afford the 1 hour commute into London.
Jeanne Ross-Osborne, SouthamptonI want rail fares to be the same tariff wherever I go. It’s too complicated trying to find the best deals for an elderly pensioner.
Mark Dawson, CarshaltonTrains are public transport. It is obscene for a private company to run them for profit.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
