A non-privatised, national rail network is the backbone of any mature developed country.

Jennifer Fulton, EdinburghEssential transport which is privatised, inefficient and too costly is contributing to hardship and increased expense for ordinary working people.
Richard Grant, Long EatonWith a better pricing strategy we can open the arteries to the cities and towns, moving the work force better and reducing the carbon footprint.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
