Our railways should be run for the benefit of the people who use them, not for the select few who own them.

Great to see Liverpool City Region Combined Authority agree plans to take Merseyrail back into public ownership when the Serco/Transport UK contract ends in 2028 👏🚆 But there's still a big loophole in the #RailwaysBill meaning a future Mayor could easily re-privatise it 🤦♂️
