Rex Maybury, Norton, DoncasterAlthough I’m a pensioner and do not pay train fares I agree with your actions.
Russell Ablewhite, OsloI always knew it would turn into this. Railways were nationalised in the first place for this reason. Pure greed.
Alan Smith, RushdenReturn the railways to the people. Five regions served by real railwaymen. Now they stuff trains in silly liveries.
Stephen Atkins, EdinburghThe private rail companies are getting more subsidy than BR ever received. They get compensated when things go wrong. They cannot lose. Time to renationalise.
Nick Urquhart, AberdeenThe shocking performance of rail services shows it needs to be state-owned. I do not remember the last time a train left exactly on time.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
