Rose Nugent, DarlingtonI actually remember British Rail and, although not perfect, it made co-ordinated travel more easy,
R Cross, SouthamptonI used to be an avid rail traveller but haven’t been able to afford the ridiculous fares for some time.
Gillian Morgan, DoncasterRail transport and its infrastructure should be nationally-owned and run in a cost-effective way, not making profit for shareholders.
Carol Wilson, Saffron WaldenLet’s have a government with common sense. Is that too much to ask for? Apparently so.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
