Bring back British Rail and all of the benefits it had.
Jim McGinley, HoylakeRail privatisation has produced an overpriced, dysfunctional mess. The only way forward is public ownership of the whole network as the East Coast line shows.
Clive Hodgetts, RhylThey should never have been privatised in the first place.
Martyn Thirlway, LondonThis is something I have been saying for a long time. The government should be responsible for transport, hospitals and schools. I wish this action the very best.
Darran Strutt, DoncasterYou (the government) privatise the railway then expect us to pay for a new line costing billions, yet you take the profit from the railways and give us nothing back.
Sophie White, RayleighGreater Anglia are the most over-priced, unreliable, and uncomfortable service I have ever experienced.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
