Anthony Kahwati, BearstedThese prices are too expensive. We are being made fools of by the rail companies and the government that allows them to continue. It’s pricing people out of London.
Nick Packer, GlasgowThere are a few things I believe should not be subject to market forces, shareholder interests etc.
Frank Harvey, BlackpoolWe had a main line from the 1880s to 2003. Now we go to Preston to get to London.
Florence Arthur, EdinburghIt is not working, late trains and profits going to faceless people, where it should be taking care of passengers. There are not enough carriages for folk to sit down.
Eoin Garland, OxfordPut the profit back into the public’s pocket. Bring back British Rail. Scrap HS2 and spend that on giving us a rail network we can be proud of – with branch lines and seats.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
