Privatised railways cost us more than when they were in public ownership and we see no profits.
Nationalise now. Undo Tory damage to a British institution.
We commuters have no choice but to catch trains, and are held to ransom by train operators, who have their shareholders’ interests at heart, over and above their passengers.
Railways should be a social service, not a money making one. Profit making has benefit in some limited situations. It is not a one-size-fits-all miracle cure.
Only the corporations that own the railways can now afford to buy their staff tickets to commute to work on the railways. Do please give us our railways back.

Has the government's decarbonisation policy hit fever point?
Privatizing has buggered up the electricity industry, the gas industry, the water industry and the waste disposal industry too. Some things should be considered a service and run to provide just that at an economic cost not a way of milking the end users.
