Too expensive, not enough infrastructure investment, too much is paid in subsidies to companies who don’t provide a good service. Re-nationalise the railways.

Elisabeth Winkler, BristolThese are our trains and we need them. No one should be making vast profits at our expense. Also we need a unified network not a segmented one.
Christa Munro, DorsetHow can these rail companies justify the massive price of train travel? BBBR.
Lee Davis, WithamAs the most expensive train line in Europe, the ridiculously high prices of Greater Anglia make it unaffordable to travel to and from work, crippling a family budget.
Margaret Wilson, DurhamControl of our rail networks, rolling-stock, etc. should never have been taken out of the hands of the British public. We need an efficient, fair system back now.
D Roberts, CornwallLack of private investment has destroyed our public rail transport system. We can have a better system offering no congestion, less pollution and faster journey times.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
