Daniel Laraman, WhitstableAlthough I have never seen BR in operation, my granddad worked for them and I know for a fact that BR was the pride of Britain at one point.
Ian Stokes, BirminghamI’ve only ever known working for Network Rail – No love, no money, no heart, no direction, no future.
Nancy Jones, FolkestoneAs a kid I could travel anywhere safely at low cost, including those great day trips tickets. Now I can’t afford to go anywhere in UK as I get coach sick.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
